Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi everyone!

I got blinking error on my GT 5820 printer. After referring to the HP representative, they told me to change the printhead since it had been expired.

After replacing the printhead by following all the procedures, the error is still there. I couldn't do printing or alignment since the letters "P" and "A" do not appear.

What should I do now? Thanks in advance for the help

Welcome to HP support community.

The error A represents, the printer printed an alignment page and is waiting to scan the page and complete the alignment.

  1. Lift the scanner lid.

  2. Place the alignment page with the print side down on the scanner glass, and then position it according to the engraved guides around the glass.

  3. Close the scanner lid.

To fix error P, refer this HP document:- Click here

I hope that helps.
