Hi,
I updated my printer laserjet pro m428fdw and it gave an error and it gets stuck on the green screen with numbers 12345.
How can I fix it?
Can someone help me?

If your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M428fdw is stuck on a green screen with numbers "12345" after a firmware update, you can try the following steps to resolve the issue:
Solution Steps:
Perform a Power Cycle:
- Turn off the printer using the power button.
- Wait for 30 seconds.
- Disconnect the power cable from the printer.
- Wait for another 30 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cable and turn the printer on.
Run HP Print and Scan Doctor (Windows only):
- Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool. Follow the prompts to diagnose and fix common printing issues.
Update Firmware Again: (Update the firmware on an HP printer | HP® Support)
- Go to the HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads page. Enter your printer model number and search for the latest firmware update. Follow the instructions to download and install the firmware update.

Thank you for your attention. However, the link to the HP and Scan Doctor Tools appears to be broken — the file cannot be found.
Could you please fix it so I can download it?

The HP Print and Scan Doctor has been discontinued as of May 28th and is no longer available as a standalone tool. Its features have now been integrated into HP Smart, where all the functionalities are being added and enhanced.
Run HP Smart:
- Download and run the HP Smart. Follow the prompts to diagnose and fix common printing issues.
- Refer: Use Diagnose & Fix in HP Smart to repair common printing issues (Windows, macOS) | HP® Support
