I have an HP Neverstop 1202W. The paper jam error code 02 is on, but there is no paper jam. I have unplugged the printer multiple times for over a minute and no change.

The error code started when I replaced the drum unit.

@Kosmommt, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

The error code Er/02 on HP Neverstop Laser MFP 1202W indicates that the top cover is open. Here are the steps to resolve this issue:

Ensure Top Cover is Closed:

  • Verify that the top cover of the printer is completely closed.
  • Close the top cover

Check the Replacement Drum Unit:

  • If you recently replaced the imaging drum unit, it may not have been correctly installed.
  • Ensure that all sealing tape has been removed from the imaging drum.
  • Lift the scanner and open the top coverRemove the imaging drum

Reinstall Imaging Drum:

  • Remove the imaging drum unit and then reinstall it carefully following the steps provided in the user manual to ensure proper installation.
  • Inserting the new imaging drum

Restart the Printer:

  • After verifying the drum installation and closing the cover, restart the printer to check if the error persists.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
