Hi @Helen190,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are getting the error code 0XB81C2BFC on your HP ENVY Photo 6234 All-in-One Printer typically indicates a hardware or firmware issue. Here are steps you can take to try and resolve it:

Steps to Fix Error 0XB81C2BFC:

Power Reset:

  • Unplug the printer from the power outlet and disconnect all cables (USB, Ethernet, etc.).
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the printer directly into a wall outlet (not a surge protector or power strip), and reconnect the power cable.
  • Turn on the printer and check if the error persists.

Firmware Update (if the printer becomes responsive):  Update the firmware on an HP printer

  • Check if your printer's firmware is up to date. You may need to visit HP’s support site and download the latest firmware if needed.
  • Alternatively, if your printer connects to the internet, you can use the HP Smart app to check for firmware updates.

Hard Reset (Factory Reset):

  • Hold down the "Cancel" button and the "Back" button together for a few seconds, then release. This should reset the printer.
  • Once it restarts, follow the on-screen instructions to set it up again.

Clear Printer's Cache:

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Hold the power button for about 15 seconds to ensure any leftover charge is cleared from the system, and then turn it back on.

Check for Paper Jams or Cartridges:

  • Make sure there are no paper jams or blockages inside the printer. Open the ink cartridge access door, and remove and reseat the cartridges properly.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
