Hi @Jeffm613,

 Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Error code 0x6100004a is a common error that occurs on HP printers. It typically indicates a problem with the printer's print head or ink system.

Here are some steps you can take to try to resolve this error.

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source. Wait for at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
  • Open the ink cartridge access door and remove all ink cartridges.
  • Check the printer for any jammed paper or debris and remove it carefully.
  • Clean the printhead by gently wiping it with a lint-free cloth that is lightly moistened with distilled water.
  • Reinstall the ink cartridges and make sure they are properly seated.
  • Close the ink cartridge access door and try printing a test page.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
