Hi @Jeanankrom,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I understand you are facing an issue with your Error code 0x8300000a cannot remove cartridges as suggested. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

May I know if you are able to move the cartridge carrier?

Let's perform a power drain:

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Remove USB cable, if present.
  • Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
  • Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle

Check these steps:

:keycap_1: Restart your printer and computer

- Press the power button on the printer. -Wait a few seconds for the printer to turn off. -Wait a few seconds for the power light on the printer to turn off. -Press and hold the power button on the printer for about 10 seconds. -Release the power button and wait for the printer to turn on. -If the printer does not turn on, repeat the steps starting with step 3. -If the printer still does not turn on, contact HP

:keycap_2: Check for printer updates

  1. Go to "Settings" on your HP printer.
  2. Select "Security & Maintenance" from the menu.
  3. Select "Check for Updates."
  4. If any updates are available, the printer will prompt you to install them. Follow the on-screen instructions.
  5. If the updates fix the problem, the printer will notify you and you will no longer receive the hp printer error code 0x83c0000a.
  6. You can find drivers updates, here: HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads

:keycap_3: Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor

  1. Open the HP Print and Scan Doctor software.
  2. Click on the "Scan" tab.
  3. Select the HP printer you want to fix.
  4. Click on the "Start Scan" button.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to fix the HP printer.

:keycap_4: Temporarily disable any firewall or antivirus software

  1. Open the HP printer software.
  2. Click on the Device Status tab.
  3. In the "Status" column, click on the "Protected" tab.
  4. In the "Protected" column, click on the "Disable" button.
  5. Click on the "Apply" button to save the changes

:ballot_box_with_check: Still not working? maybe try one of these options:

  1. Clear the printer queue.
  2. Uninstall and reinstall the printer software.
  3. Restore your computer to an earlier date.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
