Hi @bigjim222,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

Error code 6201922A on an HP Envy Photo 7155 typically indicates a severe communication, firmware, or mechanical jam issue, often appearing with a blue screen. To fix it, power cycle the printer (unplug while on), check for paper jams, reinsert cartridges, and update the firmware.

  • Power Cycle/Hard Reset: While the printer is on, unplug the power cord from the back. Wait at least 60 seconds. Plug it back in, preferably directly into a wall outlet to avoid surge protector issues HP Support Community.
  • Check for Paper Jams/Obstructions: Open all access doors and check the paper path for small bits of paper or debris, as this error is sometimes caused by paper feed issues.
  • Update Firmware: Visit the HP Support website to download and install the latest firmware, which can fix bugs causing this error, suggest users in the HP Support Community.
  • Check Cartridges: Remove and reinsert the ink cartridges to ensure they are seated properly.
  • Factory Reset: If the error persists, a factory reset may be needed. Note that this often requires specific, sometimes private, instructions from HP support to avoid "bricking" the device.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day ahead! 🚀

Best regards,

I'm an HP Employee.
