HP ENVY Photo 7855
macOS 10.15 Catalina

Brand new printer.

Error code C4EB8024 on HP Envy Photo 7855.  The screen is blue and the buttons just flash and don't repond to anything.

I've done everything it says on forums.  Unplugged for extended periods of time and took cartridges out.  It is plugged directly into the wall with no surge protector.  I've also tried multiple wall sockets. And when I try to update the firmware, my computer won't recognize the device.

This may be a hardware problem that can't be fixed, but I'd like to see if I missed anything.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Let's try connecting the Printer to a different wall outlet directly.

Also, try a firmware update: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/ish_1776648-1643972-16

Let me know if this helps.
