@DJBeards, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

An E0 error indicates an unusable cartridge. This occurs when one or both ink cartridges need attention.

Please follow these steps,
Check Cartridge Compatibility:

  • Ensure you're using genuine HP cartridges compatible with the ENVY 6065e.

Clean Cartridge Contacts:

  • Power off the printer and unplug it.
  • Remove the color cartridge.
  • Gently clean the copper-colored contacts on the cartridge and inside the printer using a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with distilled water.
  • Let it dry completely before reinserting.

Reinstall the Cartridge:

  • Reinsert the cartridge firmly until it clicks into place.
  • Close the cartridge access door and power the printer back on.

Reset the Printer:

  • Unplug the printer from the wall while it's on.
  • Wait 60 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and turn it on.

Check for Firmware Updates:

  • Use the HP Smart app or visit HP support site to check for firmware updates. An outdated firmware can sometimes cause cartridge recognition issues.
