Can I have error codes for 9025e inkjet printer? I'm experiencing 17.00.60, 71.00.50, and 71.00.ED but I have not been able to find any documentation or posts referencing what these errors mean to troubleshoot.

Hi @WhiteShine,

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are getting error codes on the HP OfficeJet Pro 9025e All-in-One Printer, here's a general approach to troubleshooting these types of error codes:

Error Code 17.00.60:

  • This error often relates to issues with the ink system or printhead. Try the following steps:
    • Ensure all ink cartridges are properly installed and not empty.
    • Remove and reinstall the ink cartridges and printhead.
    • Check for any protective tape or packaging left on the cartridges.
    • Perform a printhead cleaning from the printer's maintenance menu.

Error Code 71.00.50:

  • This code can be indicative of a paper feed or paper path issue. Try these steps:
    • Check for any paper jams or obstructions in the paper path.
    • Ensure that the paper trays are properly aligned and not overfilled.
    • Remove and reinsert the paper trays and check for any debris or obstructions.

Error Code 71.00.ED:

  • This error might point to a hardware issue, often related to the paper feed or the printer's internal mechanisms. Try the following:
    • Check the printer’s internal components for any visible issues or misalignments.
    • Ensure that all paper trays and doors are securely closed.
    • Perform a factory reset if other troubleshooting steps do not resolve the issue.
