Hi @Tcgoelz, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The E blinking light on the HP ENVY 6055e usually indicates an error state. Here are some troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:

Check for Specific Errors

  • If your printer has a display or status messages in HP Smart, open the app on your computer or phone to check for any specific error codes.

Power Cycle the Printer

  1. Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  2. Wait 60 seconds.
  3. Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
  4. Check if the error clears.

Check Ink Cartridges

  • Open the printer's front cover and check if the ink cartridges are properly installed.
  • Remove and reinstall the ink cartridges to ensure a secure fit.
  • If one of the cartridges is faulty, try replacing it.

Check for Paper Jams

  1. Open the rear access door and look inside for any jammed paper.
  2. Carefully remove any stuck paper.
  3. Close the door and restart the printer.

Reset the Printer

  • Press and hold the Wi-Fi and Cancel buttons together for about 10 seconds until the printer resets.

Check Wireless Connection

  • If you are setting up the printer for the first time, try connecting it via USB and running HP Smart to complete the setup.

Update Firmware

  • If you can access HP Smart, check for firmware updates and install them.
