I have the error code oxc 8190014 mw_mcasic_heal. I have looked through the other similar posts and followed the steps but nothing has worked. Is there anyway to get rid of this or do I need to get someone to fix it

Thank you for joining the HP Community

I suggest you do a Hard Reset on the printer

(1) Turn the printer on, if it is not already on. (Remove the cartridges)

(2) Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.

(3) With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.

(4) Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

(5) Wait at least 60 seconds.

(6) Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.

NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.

(7) Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.

(8) Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on and put the cartridges back in.

The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.

Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent.

Check if the carriage is moving freely?

How is the printer connected? (Wireless or USB)

Remove the cartridge and check for the error message?

Keep me posted, how it goes!

Have a great day!

Thank you. I have tried all this and nothing. All the lights on the touch screen display flash with the error code and cartridge block doesn't move when switched back on had to physically move it to get cartridges out

Appreciate you trying the steps. This looks like a hardware issue. Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

Have a great day!
