Hello. I recently replaced the toner in my LaserJet mgp m29w printer. I don't have a problem with setup on Wi-Fi or usb, but when I print I get an error. The attention light and power light blink and it reports error "go 01". I found the solution for that error code, it says to make sure my paper size is correct and there's paper in the tray, and then hit the continue copy button (the one that shows 2 pieces of paper on it). All that seems to do is print an entire page of black, and this toner is too expensive to keep printing whole pages of just black. Can someone please suggest an alternate fix for me?

Hi @brunbennett1,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
Let's perform a power drain:
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Remove the USB cable, if present.
- Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
- Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
- Turn on the printer and wait till the warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle
Update the printer firmware
- Click here HP LaserJet Pro M28-M31w Printers - Blinking Lights
- Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your product
- Click here to know different methods of updating the printer firmware.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
