Hi @RoJoMo ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand the error code B84F21D4 on your HP ENVY Inspire 7220e typically indicates a hardware issue with the printer. This could be related to the printhead, cartridges, or internal components.
Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
- Check the Cartridges: Ensure that the ink cartridges are installed correctly and are not empty or damaged. Remove and reseat them if necessary.
- Inspect the Printhead: If your printer has a removable printhead, take it out and check for any clogs or debris. Clean it gently with a lint-free cloth and a bit of distilled water.
- Power Cycle the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the wall for about 10 minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on.
- Update Firmware: Ensure that your printer's firmware is up to date. You can do this through the HP Smart app or the HP support website. Update the firmware on an HP printer
- Factory Reset: If the above steps do not work, you can try resetting the printer to its factory settings. Check the user manual for instructions on how to perform a reset.
Refer to this document: HP ENVY Inspire 7220e All-in-One Printer User manual
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
