Cheers, I am unable to print from multiple computers. On the printing app it says that the print job is in the queue, but it is listed as: Error- Sent to printer under status. On the printer itself its states: "There is a problem with the printer or ink system. Turn printer off, then back on. If problem persists, contact HP."
I have attempted to restart the printer multiple times to no avail. I have recently changed ink cartridges but nothing else has changed since the last print job earlier today.

Hi @Jthankyou,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding printer and ink system errors on the HP Officejet 6700 Premium!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Restart the Printer:
- Turn off the printer using the power button.
- Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer and from the power outlet.
- Wait for about 60 seconds and then reconnect the power cord.
- Turn the printer back on.
Check Ink Cartridges:
- Make sure the ink cartridges are properly installed.
- Check if the protective tape on the cartridges was removed before installation.
- If the error persists, remove the cartridges and gently clean the electrical contacts with a lint-free cloth. Reinsert them and close the printer door.
Check for Paper Jams:
- Open the cartridge access door and check for any paper jams or foreign objects.
- Use both hands to remove any visible paper if jammed.
Print Queue:
- Clear the print queue on your computer. Go to 'Devices and Printers', select your printer, and cancel all documents.
- Try printing a test page.
Ensure Internet Connection:
- If using HP+, ensure the printer is connected to the internet. HP+ printers require an active internet connection to work properly.
Use HP Print and Scan Doctor:
- Use the HP Print and Scan Doctor utility. This tool can diagnose and automatically fix many printer issues.
- Download and install HP Print and Scan Doctor from the HP website.
Check Printer Software:
- Ensure that the printer software and drivers are up-to-date. Visit the HP website for the latest updates specific to your printer model.
I hope this helps.
