HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus e-All-in-One Printer - N911g

1) 8/21/23. Powered ON printer and it displayed-> "ink cartridge depleted for the yellow ink". So I removed Lemero yellow cartridge; replaced it with a previously used HP yellow cartridge. "Depleted cartridge" error message was gone; replaced by normal display(print, copy, scan). So I made a black text copy. The copy was good. I powered OFF and back ON; the "ink cartridge depleted for the yellow" was back.
2) 9/21/23. Removed old HP yellow cartridge and replaced it with a FULL Lemero yellow; and got "Empty ink cartridge….Original HP…for the yellow" error message. This happened because the empty HP yellow was still in the printer's memory.
3) 10/2/23 Powered ON printer and it displayed "ink cartridge depleted-yellow". I removed the FULL Lemero yellow cartridge; replaced it with a FULL LD Products yellow cartridge. The "ink cartridge depleted " error message was gone; and replaced by NORMAL DISPLAY (Print, copy...). So I made 2 black text copies. Again, the copies were GOOD. The printer seemed fixed. I powered OFF. However, later powered it ON to make some on-line printouts with the computer on. After the printer was powered ON it automatically did the printer preparation cycle, and when the cycle was complete it displayed "Printer Failure. There is a problem with the printer or ink system.Turn printer off, then on. If problem persists, contact HP." Please note I have seen this error message in the past; it always meant that an ink cartridge was depleted and needed replacement.
4) 10/7 Removed FULL LD yellow cartridge and replaced with a second FULL LD yellow cartridge. The printer accepted the second LD yellow; the "printer failure" message was gone. To test the printer I made some color copies with an emphasis on yellow colors. The color copies were fine except solid yellow backgrounds on the originals showed on the copies as lighter, or yellow lines instead, or not at all. One copy of a post card with yellow looked fine. After the 9th color copy the "printer failure...." error message suddenly returned.
5) Also, the printer "Estimate Ink Level" screen shows all colors with a white check mark, however except for the yellow which has a caution sign instead.
If you know the likely cause and solution for the "Printer Failure" error message please let me know.

Or if you know of another source, on-line or other,  which might know then please let me know.

As noted above, each time I changed the yellow cartridge the printer would copy effectively; but only temporarily.
Thanks.
