My old HP printer suddenly did not respond any more and upon closer inspection there was a message on the display:
Error message on my 7210 All-in-one Office Jet printer: 0X07d54dd6
On the second line of the display it says: 2005:lib_barracu
I have had this message before and got it fixed but unfortunately cannot recall how. I did search site and found an answer which I tried to do but it did not restart as it should have.
Apparently I need to restart/reboot the printer. Anyone know how to do that?
Appreciate your help very much.
Cheers

- Are you able to remove the ink cartridges out of the printer?
Let's try these steps:
Step 1: Perform a Power Reset:
- Make sure this printer is plugged into a direct wall, not a surge protector.
- Turn the printer on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
- Remove all of your ink cartridges from the printer and close the door.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
- Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on. The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.
- Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
- Reinsert the ink cartridges, and then close the ink cartridge access door.
- Check if you can print/copy
- If the issue persists, proceed to the next step.
Step 2: Clean the ink cartridge contacts
- Remove the ink cartridges from the printer
- Dip a clean foam rubber swab or lint-free cloth into distilled water, and then squeeze any excess water from it.
- Clean the electrical contacts on the cartridge.
- Clean the copper-colored electrical contacts
- Do not clean the ink nozzles
- Re-insert the ink cartridges
- Check for the error
- Try to print/copy
