I have an OfficeJet Pro 8025 and I am getting a printer failure error with event code 71.02.4A. So far I have turned the printer off and back on which didn't fix it. I've tried unplugging the power cord from the printer, waiting a few minutes and plugging it back in. This also did not fix it. When I open the printer it does not appear to have any debris stuck on the track and there's no way for me to check the ink cartridges since they do not move like they should when I open the printer. I've also checked for updates but it says my printer is up to date.

I understand that you are getting errors on the printer, I am glad to assist you.

You might have to perform a semi-full reset on the printer.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.  

I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.

Is your issue resolved? My ink cartridge carriage also doesn't move when I open the printer and there's nothing blocking it. Please let me know if you were able to fix it.
