Every time I turn on my printer and print it begins by printing a page telling me I need to scan it

The cartridges are REALLY expensive my printer keeps printing a full colour page every time I turn it on, telling me I need to scan that page to print it out. I'm printing from my computer only so I fail to see how scanning is relevant. It also prints out another full colour page every time it does an update. This is frustrating, a waste of paper and ink. How do I stop this?

After you change one or more cartridge(s), the printer needs to align / calibrate the new cartridge(s).

That page that is telling you to scan and print the results will continue until you scan and print the alignment check results.

If the "update" print is related to Web Services,
