Hi @PeterCat95, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with your HP OfficeJet Pro 8130e printer. The error code "f0.01.01.01" and the inability to turn off the printer suggest a potential firmware or hardware problem. Here's a step-by-step guide to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

1. Perform a Hard Reset:

Power Off: If the printer's power button is unresponsive, disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.
Unplug from Power Source: Remove the power cord from the wall outlet.
Wait: Leave the printer unplugged for at least 60 seconds to allow any residual charge to dissipate.
Reconnect: Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet and then into the printer.
Power On: Press the power button to turn the printer back on.
This process can help reset the printer's internal systems and may resolve unresponsive behavior.

2. Update Printer Firmware:

Outdated firmware can lead to operational issues. To ensure your printer is running the latest firmware:

Via Printer Control Panel:

Navigate to the "Setup" or "Settings" menu.
Select "Printer Maintenance" or "Tools."
Choose "Update the Printer" or "Printer Updates" to check for and install any available updates.

Using HP Smart App:

Open the HP Smart app on your device.
Select your printer, then navigate to "Advanced Settings."
Go to the "Tools" or "Web Services" section.
Click on "Printer Updates" to check for and install updates.
Regular firmware updates can enhance performance and fix known issues.

 3. Check for Software Glitches:

Software conflicts can prevent the printer from operating correctly. To address potential software issues:

Update Printer Drivers: Ensure that the latest drivers are installed on your computer. Visit the HP Software and Driver Downloads page, enter your printer model, and download the appropriate drivers.
Reinstall Printer Software: Uninstall the current printer software from your computer, then reinstall it using the latest version from HP's official website.
Keeping software up-to-date helps maintain compatibility and functionality.

4. Inspect Power Connections:

Faulty power connections can cause operational issues. To ensure stable power supply:

Direct Connection: Plug the printer's power cord directly into a wall outlet, avoiding power strips or surge protectors.
Check Power Module: If your printer uses an external power module, ensure its indicator light is on. If it's off, consider replacing the power module.
Stable power is crucial for proper printer operation.

5. Clear Print Queue:
Sometimes, clearing the print queue can help. Go to your computer's printer settings, find your printer, and clear any pending print jobs.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
