HP Officejet Pro8024
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I have an officejet Pro 8024 and I have been having loads of problems with it.  It doesn't connect very well although it is wireless, so that might be the issue there.  When I try to print, if I am printing more than around 5 pages, it stops moving the paper through and just keeps printing on the same spot, then when I cancel it comes out.  It is not because of too many or too few pages in the tray as I have tried adjusting that.  I have just tried to scan a few pages and after doing 4 pages with no problem, the screen is now flashing with an error message of B336EC67.

I bought an extended warranty but cannot get any help from anyone.  It just sends me from website to website with automated messages and none of the options fit my problem!  I am really frustrated!  Can anyone help please?

We cannot comment on what is covered by an extended Warranty - all Warranty discussion is outside the Community's very limited realm of influence.

General Comment:  If the item of concern is not covered, for example, software support, then you cannot submit a case to HP.  For your information, I've provided links to what we have for Care Pack Support at the end of this message.

Add the following to your checkpoints of what you have tried.

>> Set the printer to use its own manual / static IP

Let the printer pick or assign the IP on the router and then on the printer (to be the same IP).

In addition,

>> Connect the printer to the SSID named network for the frequency / band you are using

========================================================================

>> Change the connection type to TCP/IP

Method - Create TCP IP port (InkJet Printer)

Find printer's IP /  IPv4 address

Print a Configuration Page

OR

Tap on the wireless icon on Printer Control / Display Panel

Control Panel > icon view > Devices and Printers

Right-Click on the printer > Left-Click Printer Properties

Select Tab Ports  > Add Port

Select Standard TCP/IP Port > New Port and follow the wizard.
Use / Enter IP address for the printer.

“Note that you can ALWAYS revert back to the original port that the HP software installed by selecting the HP port within the Ports tab (in Printer Properties)”

 NOTE:

If at all possible, connect the printer to your network using Ethernet.

We know that an Ethernet connection will provide the best and most stable service.
