I have an HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M478fcdw. Faxes are being stored in memory; not printing. I believe that it's because we are not using genuine ink--sorry, but times are tough!
Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If normal printing and copying work, then it is not very likely that the off brand cartridges are preventing faxes. I would look at other possible issues such as tray settings or fax settings. Honestly, if you want to reduce expense, use the digital fax option to save directly to computer and only print faxes that need to be printed.

Hello Repairatrooper,
Thanks for replying!
Yes, everything else is printing fine, just not the faxes.
You mentioned going "digital" for faxes. I've never heard of that, and I will look into it.
Thanks again,

Repairatrooper,
Sorry to bother you again, but I found the option for digital fax. I know the email address I want the fax to be sent to--that is, under the To Email Address section--but what email address do I put in for the From Email Address section? Would our printer have it's own email address?
