If only one print-head needs to be cleaned, the printer will consume ink of all cartridges. This should not be necessary in my eyes, since I know which print-head needs to be cleaned.

Welcome to HP support community.

 

There is no option to clean one printhead at a time.

Cleaning printhead process is designed to use inks in all the cartridges.

That's what I know too. I forgot to say that this should be a feature-request. So can you (hp) implement this feature? If yes, when will it be available, and if no, I would like to hear why.

 

As example: if only one printhead needs to be cleaned and ink of all four cartridges is used, you would use 4x the ink (and money) which would be necessary.
