Forced hard reset for a laserjet pro m404dw
I have a network printer, locked for the users to administrate, and somehow the admin password for the laserjet pro m404dw is not the one we useually use.
Since I cannot get into the printers LCD display and hard reset from there, is there any way to hard reset manually?
I have tried to turn off the printer - start and hold X + left arrow, hold X and right error (which I found in an old support message - with no luck.
Also, when connected to the network with cable, there are no traffic coming in to the printer, at least, the little LED lights show no traffic.
Could the network card in the printer be faulty with the result that I can't enter the reset function?
