Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,
The message is intended as a warning so you can have a replacement cartridge available and avoid possible printing delays. You do not need to replace the cartridge until print quality becomes unacceptable.
Solution one: Close the message on the printer control panel and computer screen
Press OK on the printer control panel, or click OK on the computer screen to close the message and continue with the print job.
NOTE: Ink level warnings and indicators provide estimates for planning purposes only. When an indicator shows low ink levels, consider having a replacement ink cartridge available to avoid possible printing delays. You do not need to replace ink cartridges until you are prompted to.
In general, low ink levels should not impact print quality. Your printer stops and displays a message when ink levels get too low. However, the printer might still perform a limited amount of printing in 'backup mode' at low ink levels. In backup mode, blacks might not be as dark, or printouts might be in grayscale (shades of grey with no colour). Replace any low ink cartridges if backup mode printing is unacceptable.
Solution two: Printing with black ink only (all cartridges must have ink)
- Important: When you see a message that says that a cartridge is empty, it must be replaced before you can continue printing.
- You can print with black ink only, but the printer will still use ink from the colour cartridges for servicing tasks. Some ink from all the cartridges is required to service the printhead and prevent clogging.
- You can choose to print with black ink only by adjusting the print settings. You must have the printer's full feature software installed on your computer to change this print setting. Click here to download your printer's full feature software from the HP website.
- Select your operating system, and then follow the steps to print using only the black cartridge.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
