Hi @simonfa

Please try these steps - HP Printers - Unexpected Text Prints

Let me know how that goes.

I've already followed those steps except servicing.

The print job doesn't appear in my print queue and I can print fine from my computer. Just getting these extra prints.

Sometimes the prints say mstshash=Administr.

The only company with direct access to my printer as far as I'm aware is HP - through the HP Instant Ink program - could this be causing a vulnerability in my network?

@simonfa

Let's try these steps -

1) Take out the cartridges.

2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.

3) Wait for 30 seconds.

4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not to a surge protector.

5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.

Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

I've tried that. We'll wait and see if the phantom prints stop.

There's no update on the web app, so I've tried updating the apps on the printer.

Thanks
