@Sarmi, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The EE error code on your HP DeskJet 2755e printer, along with flashing lights, typically indicates a firmware issue, hardware malfunction, or a general printer error. Here’s what you can try to fix it:
Perform a Hard Reset
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Remove any paper jams or stuck cartridges if accessible.
- Wait 60 seconds before plugging it back in.
- Turn the printer back on and check if the error persists.
Check Ink Cartridges
- Open the ink cartridge access door.
- Remove the ink cartridges, then reinsert them securely.
- Close the door and check if the printer initializes properly.
Reset the Printer to Factory Defaults
- With the printer powered on, press and hold the Wi-Fi and Cancel (X) buttons together for 10-15 seconds.
- Release when the power button starts flashing.
- The printer should reset and attempt to reinitialize.
Update Printer Firmware
- Since the error could be firmware-related, try updating the firmware:
- Connect the printer via USB to a PC.
- Download and install the latest firmware update from HP official website.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to update the firmware.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
