@Sarmi, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The EE error code on your HP DeskJet 2755e printer, along with flashing lights, typically indicates a firmware issue, hardware malfunction, or a general printer error. Here’s what you can try to fix it:

Perform a Hard Reset

  1. Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  2. Remove any paper jams or stuck cartridges if accessible.
  3. Wait 60 seconds before plugging it back in.
  4. Turn the printer back on and check if the error persists.

Check Ink Cartridges

  1. Open the ink cartridge access door.
  2. Remove the ink cartridges, then reinsert them securely.
  3. Close the door and check if the printer initializes properly.

Reset the Printer to Factory Defaults

  1. With the printer powered on, press and hold the Wi-Fi and Cancel (X) buttons together for 10-15 seconds.
  2. Release when the power button starts flashing.
  3. The printer should reset and attempt to reinitialize.

Update Printer Firmware

  1. Since the error could be firmware-related, try updating the firmware:
  2. Connect the printer via USB to a PC.
  3. Download and install the latest firmware update from HP official website.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to update the firmware.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
