Send a message message keeps coming up remove any jam paper, and make sure the paper tray is installed properly, and once I make sure then another message comes up and says the printer was not turned off properly and then it keeps asking me to load plain white paper in a tray, and then a message that comes upstairs. There is a problem with the printer or the printer system through the printer off and then on which I did

Hi @Hank-Karim1

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your Go printer is stuck in a loop of error messages and is not responding as it should. Based on your description, here are some troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:

1. Check for Paper Jam

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it.
  • Open the printer and carefully check all areas for any jammed paper (including inside the paper tray, paper path, and near the printhead area).
  • If you find any paper, carefully remove it without tearing it.
  • Ensure that the paper tray is seated properly in its place and that it is not loose or out of alignment.

2. Check Paper Tray and Paper Alignment

  • Make sure the paper is loaded correctly in the paper tray. The paper guides should be adjusted to fit the paper size, and the paper should not be overfilled.
  • Sometimes, even if there's no visible jam, paper can be misaligned, causing issues. Re-align the paper and make sure the tray is properly seated.

3. Perform a Hard Reset

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source for about 1 minute.
  • While the printer is unplugged, press and hold the power button for about 30 seconds to release any residual charge.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on. This can help reset the internal system and clear any temporary errors.

4. Turn Printer Off Properly

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
