HP Office Jet Pro 8625
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm about to go nuts!  HP OJ 8625 was working perfectly on current set up - home network using Google Wi-fi (mesh)  - for months. Recently, for a reason unknown to me, my desktop computer stopped seeing the printer. Thinking it might help, I ended up uninstalling/reinstalling the HP software after downloading the latest version.

Unfortunately, as I install the HP software and it wants to find and connect to the printer - NO DICE!

Printer is definitely connected to the network. All info showing on the printer display is correct and shows 4 bars of connection strength. FWIW, the automatically assigned IP address is 192.168.86.35

Router LAN address is 192.168.86.1

And even though the computer is connected to the same network, with a default gateway address of 192.168.86.1, it CANNOT FIND THE PRINTER... even after I have entered the printer's IP address.

I have no clue why it would work fine for months, but now I now cannot find the bloody printer during re-installation. Any help would be DEEPLY appreciated!

Turns out I'm an idiot! Just realized I somehow downloaded and installed the wrong software package (8610 vs. 8620). Corrected the mistake and the printer was instantly found.
