HP 1515
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I just bought a HP 1515 printer. the spec says it prints A5 but it is not listed in supported paper sizes.

So How do I get A5 size to print ?

Hi,

This is a known problem, you may workaround it by using an alternative driver.

From Devices and Printers Right click the 1515 icon and select Printer Properties.

From the Ports tab locate the selected port and take a note of its name, then click on Close.

Click on Add a Printer and select a local printer, from teh port selection select the same port as used by the printer and follow the wizard.

Select the HP from the manufacturer pane and select teh HP Deskjet 5550 or the HP Deskjet 6940 from the list, then complete teh wizard.

Now try printing an A5 paper using the alternative driver.

Hope that helps,

Shlomi

After install Win 10, i encontered I can't use this "add a Printer" (or use other printer driver) to overcome this problem, when install new driver, it will need me to link to actual printer.

Early when used Win 8, I install 3520 driver, when add printer, I still can find 3520, now Win 10 can't. How to overcome this problem?
