Hi, when I put yer recommended IP address for HP 192.168.12.1 Chrome rejects and says unsafe no valid certificate. Then asks if I want to continue to unsafe site. Of course I did not so am left with the question if I have been hacked?
Thanks!

Chrome and other browsers do NOT like local networks - they cannot verify the use or safety of an internal network.
Some browsers are better equipped than others to let you make your own decision.
If the network is your own printer, device, router...
In the case of anything similar to "continue at risk",
Then do go ahead and "accept risk" > continue
If asked, add a permanent exception.

Dragon-Fur, thank you! I will go with accept site. It is a local home secured network so I believe you have indicated a low risk in proceeding through to HP IP. I have web Root as virus and general security and it seems to also provide protection.
Thanks again!
