Hello, can anyone advise please.
Printer and inks just one year old.
Is it co-incidence that my inks are showing as empty on the exact anniversary of purchase?
Or is this HP profiteering, as Epson did from me for years.
Regards
T

Hi @trustissues,
Thanks for showing your interest in the HP Forums! I see that you are wondering why the cartridges are now showing empty after having the printer for one year. I can help you.
Are they still the original cartridges in the printer?
The ink levels and indicators are estimates: Checking Ink or Toner Levels.
I have provided the website for the cartridge page yields that are available for this model: Page Yield.
Let me know if those steps worked for you. If they did, that’s awesome! Give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons, that’ll help us and others see that we’ve got the answers! Good Luck!
I work on behalf of HP

Hello Gemini02.
Thanks for your reply. The fact is that I put new cartridges in almost immediately I purchased the printer and I am just suspicious of the co-incidence of the cartridges (Both) running out on the exact anniversary of my fitting them.
I cannot run the extra tests that you helpfully suggest, as I have already inserted the spare set I had by me.
I will however save your helpful hints until next replacement prompt.
( I use printer only occasionally).
Forgive my suspicious mind if the depletion indicator is not a pre-programmed catch penny by HP, but I have had years of being fleeced by Epson, excuse me, spits, where was I?, oh yes, years of being fleeced by Epson sharp practices.
