HP 2540 print options menu only gives Grayscale or Black..where do I find full colour option?

My HP 2540 will only give me either gray scale or black as a print option...

I cannot see where in the print menu or anywhere else it gives a full colour print option (even though I have colour cartrdiegd etc. it ony gives me grayscale or Black as soptions...

where within the menus or help programmes do i find how to swirch printerto full colour.

It should be so easy as it is a full colour printer...........

• Which operating system is installed on the computer?
• When did this issue start?
• Did you do any hardware or software changes?

If you this issue started after windows 10 update, follow the below steps.

Uninstall the printer software and install the printer with windows built in drivers.

Once you install the printer, change the bellow settings to print in color.

1. Open Devices and Printers by clicking the Start button , and then, on the Start menu, clicking Devices and Printers.
2. Right-click the printer that you want to use, and then click Printing preferences.
3. Make your choices, and then click OK.
4. Under option Print color select color , then the OK button.
