Product: HP Color LaserJet 2605dn Printer

I have a problem with an HP Color Laser Jet 2605dn printer.

 

All prints come out with the printed data too far towards the left hand margin so that some of the text is off the page. This applies to documents that are solely in black and white and also documents which have colour in them.

This occurs with Word, Excel and PDF files.

 

Printing in portrait mode the text is moved to the left hand side of the page.

Printing  in landscape mode the text is moved to the top of the page.

 

If I use the front panel on the printer and print a Service Page, I get the same problem. This makes me think that the problem is internal to the printer and not corruption to a file on my laptop.

 

I have printed the same documents to a Canon Ink Jet and they print correctly.

 

ALSO when printing a document including colour I get two colours overlaid but with an offset.
