Hi @Sportage,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

For your HP DeskJet 2700e All-in-One series printer, the three lights flashing near the color cartridge indicator often indicate an issue with the cartridge or a cartridge-related error. If you're also getting blank pages when printing, this could be due to a problem with the ink cartridge, connection, or printhead. Here are some steps you can try.

Check the Ink Cartridges:

  • Ensure that both black and color cartridges are correctly installed and securely clicked into place.
  • Remove and reinsert the color cartridge to confirm it's seated properly.
  • Check for any protective tape that may have been left on the cartridge's copper contacts or ink nozzles; remove it if present.

Clean the Cartridge Contacts:

  • Turn off the printer, unplug it, and gently remove the color cartridge.
  • Using a clean, lint-free cloth, gently wipe the copper contacts on the cartridge as well as the corresponding contacts inside the printer.
  • Reinstall the cartridge and turn the printer back on.

Run a Printhead Cleaning Cycle:

  • Access the HP Smart app or printer software and locate the maintenance tools section. Run a "Clean Printhead" or "Print Quality Diagnostic" cycle to clear any clogs.

Update Firmware:

  • Make sure the printer firmware is up to date by checking the HP Smart app or visiting HP’s support page.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
