I bought a HP304XL cartridge thinking it would work on my HP 2675 printer assuming cartridges work on all HP 2600 series printers. My does not recognize the printer cartridge. Am I out of luck?

Hi,
An HP Deskjet 2600 uses HP 304 cartridges in Europe,
An HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2600 uses HP 652 cartridges, those are different printer models which uses different ink cartridges.
You cannot use 304 cartridges in a Deskjet Ink Advantage printer:

Can you confirm the printer model?
Where did you find the 304XL listed as the proper cartridge?
What exactly is the error message you are seeing?

Thank you for responding. I purchased the cartridge in the UK while on holiday. The printer was purchased in the Cayman Islands which I believe HP printers are Latin American models. When I replaced the HP 304XL cartridge in the printer, an error message appears.

Can you please confirm the printer model? Is this the Deskjet 2645, the Deskjet Ink Advantage 2645 or a different model? See the document here for information on finding the printer model.
