I have an HP Deskjet 3755 All In One printer but it won't print any kind of documents or pdf file. It will only print images. My sister was printing something from her computer while i wasn't home so i have no idea what she did. I didn't even know until days later i turned on my printer to print a document i needed but it ketp re-printing her document instead. I thought i fixed the problem because it stopped re-printing her document but now it won't print any documents or make copies. It'll only print images now. Please can someone help me. I need to print some important documents soon.
I did also switched the cartridges too so I don't know if that has anything to do with the printing problem. Maybe it's not place right. I don't know. Also when i change my presets the printing changes too but still won't print documents. Only images.

Thank you for joining the HP Support Community.
To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:
Are you facing this issue after an update?
Just to double check is the copy working fine?
If you are facing the same issue while making a copy click on this link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-deskjet-3700-all-in-one-printer-series/8954253/model/1126203... and follow the steps.
If the copy is working fine.
Let's update the printer firmware and Mac software:
Restart the printer and the MAC
Then, follow the below steps to remove the printer and add the printer as AirPrint.
Step 1: Remove multiple printers from the printer list
Check for multiple devices in the Printers list, and then remove any extra entries other than one in idle status.
-
Search the Mac for Print, and then click Print & Fax, Print & Scan, or Printers & Scanners in the list of results.
-
Find the printer names that match your printer from the list of devices.
Figure : Printers and Scanner window with multiple names of a printer in the list
-
If you see multiple printer queues for the same printer, remove all extra printers by selecting them one at a time, and then clicking the minus button
at the bottom of the list. Leave one 'idle' printer in the list that matches your printer if available and use this printer as the Default printer.
-
Try printing again.
-
If the printer prints, you can stop troubleshooting.
-
If the printer remains offline or displays an error, continue to the next step.
-
Step 2: Delete the existing print queue and add the printer
Remove the printer queue from the list of printers, and then add it again. Doing so creates a new printing session.
-
Make sure your Mac is connected to the Internet.
-
In the Printers list, click your HP printer, and then click the Minus button
to delete it.
-
Click the Add button
.
-
Find and select the name of your printer from the Printer list, and then click Add to add your printer. Do not select an HP Fax driver.

-
Click Print Using or Use.
-
Select the name of your printer (if available) or AirPrint.

Your new printer queue displays in the Printers list in an Idle status
.

-
Try printing again.
Keep me posted, how it goes!

I've tried all the advice you gave me but the printer still isn't woking. The copy is not working either. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but nothing is working. My sister uses an HP computer while I use a MAC Book air and we both print from our own computer/laptop using the HP Deskjet 3755 printer. Could there be a print job that's jammed from her computer ? Because on the printer display it shows an evelope with a water drop. I can't figure out what it means.
i also received this message a while ago...
The print job is formatted for a paper size that is different from what is loaded in the printer. The job might have been resized incorrectly.
Click OK to print the remaining pages the same way as the first page.
Click Cancel Print to cancel the job.
To change the default paper size automatically detected by the printer, use the printer's home page (also called the embedded web server or EWS):
1. Press the "i" button on the printer control panel to print an information page, and then find the IP address printed on this page.
2. After you have found the IP address, enter it in a web browser on a computer or mobile device on the same network as the printer.
3. After the EWS has opened, select Settings, then Preferences, then Tray and Paper Management.
Tip: You can also use the HP All-in-One Printer Remote app for mobile devices to change the paper size configured in the printer. Download and install this free app from the iOS, Android, and Microsoft Windows 8 application stores.

Appreciate all your time and efforts!
I suggest you do a Hard Reset
(1) Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
(2) Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
(3) With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
(4) Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
(5) Wait at least 60 seconds.
(6) Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.
(7) Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
(8) Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.
Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Click on this link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-deskjet-3700-all-in-one-printer-series/8954253/model/1126203... and follow the troubleshooting steps.
- Try using a different in cartridges and check if it works out for you.
If the issue persists, This could be an issue with the printing system.
I would personally suggest you contact our HP phone support for one on one interaction.
Please use the following link to create yourself a case number, then call and it may help speed up the call process:
