Hello!
I have an HP 3835 and i have a qustion: Why the fax modem start to beep after dialing the number?
Is another „beep”, i mean the dialing tone is different then the modem beep. The beep is present until the fax is completed.

This is a great location to get assistance! I read your post and see that you are getting beeps while sending the fax from the modem. I would like to help you resolve this issue.
The beeping noise is normal because you're using it on your phone line. Same as when you are dialing a number when you do a normal phone call to a friend.

Is different beep.
For example, here is an successful sended fax message. The dialing sound isnt because the remote number is automatic anwering fax machine.
I tried to send to another number without any answer to hear the difference between sounds. The first two beeps are ”the annoying beeps”, at the 3rd ”the annoying sound” beep with the dialing sound in the same time. You can hear clear the difference between dialing sound and the modem beep.
My phone line is connected directly to the ONT. Before changing my landline carrier i had the TDM landline with VDSL modem on the same line, but the beep was everytime.
