Hp Envy 4510 inkjet all in one printer/scanner
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently replaced both my Ink cartridges with new ones . When I tried printing it will print fine in Black and White but won't print any color, it makes it Black.  I dont see a setting for Color on my page when I hit the print button. When trying to print from Adobe it show color and I checkmit but it still prints in Black and white.  I don't know if I need to remove the drivers and install a different one or what to do.  I had trouble before with the  color option disappearing and was told to install a different driver from another printer but then somemhopw it corrected itself. Need some advise. When I print an alignment page it com es out in color and Black!  Cleaned the print heads too

I’d suggest a clean install to try and fix the HP driver issue.
First, unplug the USB cable from the printer if present.
Go to Control panel – Programs and Features – Select all the HP printer entries and uninstall them.
Go to Control panel – Devices and Printers – Select all the HP printer entries and remove the device.
Press the windows key + r to get the Run window open - type printui.exe /s
Under print server properties, go to drivers - remove any HP entry there as well.
Press the windows key + r to get the Run window open - type c:/programdata

Go to HP folder, remove all HP printer related folders & files.
Restart your computer.

I might add when I copied a color page, as a test,  the printer did print the page in full color as it should.  I havent tried doing what you have instructed but will try it and get back to you. Thanks for your reply.

No, It did not occur after a Windows update. Plus when I turn on my printer it always shows it's not connected or turned on when it is connected and turned on. I have to reboot my laptop to or got to device manager, services  and reset the print spooler. Some times this works if I dont reboot. Would appreciate your advice. It's annoying to have to keep reinstalling the software.

How do you have it connected?

It's connected by wifi  and some how I got it printing in color but there still is no setting for Color or Black in the printing software. Think HP needs to rewrite the printer software. It seems to be a common problem that needs to be addressed.
