Loaded "HP Print for Chrome";   Now I Can Print

I have been through similar docs before, today.  This one had a new twist to go to "Print" from the settings menu but same print and same results, i.e. no print job.

I look at the Event Logs but there is no detail.  Previously it would say "Printer Event".  Now I have three messages "Network Information".  Not useful error messages.

Hello,

Could you confirm if the printer is connected to your computer.

Try keying in the printer IP address in a browswer, and check if the printer EWS pages shows up .

Also you may try steps mentioned in below URL.

I installed the "WiFi printer driver for Chromebooks" with the same results, no printing.

I did a search on Event Log event # 74740 and found this page:  https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Inkjet-Printing/Hp-Envy-4520-Error-Code-Flashing/td-p/6809787.  I followed the instructions and checked for firmware update and received message "The printer is up to date."

Following the instructions:  On the "devices" page I have no "Classic Printers" section, I only have my printer "HP ENVY 4520 series [F55076]"

Under the "Cloud-ready printers" section I can see the HP 4520 All-in-One but is does not highlight or allow me to select.  The instructions stop for that section without giving any choices to select.  So I move to the next section.

I tweak the settings setting the pages to print to 1, I hit the Print button, and nothing.  I get a message on my chromebook that it is now printing but zero on the printer.

The Event Log adds another 74740 event.
