Every time I print, the first job goes to printer and prints, however it keeps showing as 'printing' in the queue; consequently every following print job does not get done as CPU does not believe the original is completed.  Ie. all other print jobs are stuck.

The only way to rectify is to cancel the initial print, re-boot CPU.

@Patrick411, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I understand you are facing issues while printing from the computer. To assist you better,

  • Which application are you trying to print from?
  • Have you tried printing different types of documents like PDF, Word, or Webpages and check if the issue persists?
  • Are you using the HP Smart app to print?

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and fix any driver issue

Click here to download the file. Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and click on 'Fix printing'.

Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
