HP 5258 . How to only print in Black ink? No Color.

It is NOT ON PRINT PAGE right before I print like other HP prints.

You can change most printers to black or grey only but this one does not allow me to do that.

I am trying every site.

I hate using color.

Please read this post then provide some details.  What operating system?  I just installed the Officejet 5258 driver on my Windows 10 x64 system and the Print in Grayscale/Black Ink Only can be selected.

One solution that would work regardless of the operating system is to remove the color cartridge and operate the printer in single-cartridge mode as described in page 82 of the user manual here.

You can store the removed color cartridge as described in the document here.
