Hello all! I have an HP 6250 photo smart printer which I cannot turn off. I tried pressing the power button once but it doesn’t fully shut off. When it reboots it asks me to turn off, then turn on printer. I am stuck in this error message Limbo !
Thank you kindly,

Hi @McQ12

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
It sounds like your HP 6250 Photo Smart Printer is stuck in a power cycle loop, which can be frustrating. Here are some steps to try:
1. Perform a Hard Reset
- Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer while it is still on.
- Disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord directly into a wall outlet (avoid power strips).
- Reconnect the power cord to the printer and turn it on.
2. Check for Firmware Updates
- Open the HP Smart App or HP Support Assistant on your computer.
- Look for firmware updates and install any available updates.

- Confirm the reset and restart the printer.
