My printer is flashing all of the lights. I have checked paper jams, cartridges and followed instructions of how-to re-boot, e.g. remove power plug and outlet plug, wait three minutes, hold power button thirty seconds to discharge, then plug outlet plug and power plug into the printer. This has not resolved the problem.

Hi @RobBob1968,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like your HP ENVY 6452e printer is displaying an E6 error with all lights flashing. This typically indicates a hardware issue that may require further troubleshooting or service. Here are a few additional steps you can try.
Check for Jammed Paper: Ensure there are no small pieces of paper stuck inside the printer that may not be immediately visible. Even a small scrap of paper can cause the printer to display an error.
Inspect Cartridges: Remove and reseat both the black and color ink cartridges. Make sure they are properly installed and securely seated in their respective slots.
Power Cycle the Printer: Disconnect the power cord from the printer and from the power outlet. Wait for about 3-5 minutes to allow any residual power to dissipate. Then reconnect the power cord directly to a wall outlet (avoid using a surge protector or power strip) and turn the printer back on.
Reset the Printer: Sometimes, performing a semi-full reset can help. To do this:
- Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
- With the printer powered on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait for about 30 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the printer.
Update Firmware: Ensure your printer's firmware is up to date. Visit the HP website, enter your printer model details, and download any available firmware updates.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
