I keep getting the "Ink System Failure..." Error Code 0xc19a0022. I've tried everything that's easy including cleaning, resetting, changing cartridges, etc. Printer head seems fine, and I even tried replacing the printer head. However, the "used" one I received was not recognized by the printer. I just fixed the paper feed problem after letting the printer sit around for a long time. The cartridges were old/empty, so they've been replaced. Any chance there's something "easy" I'm missing? Watching videos online and reading other posts have not revealed anything magical. Thanks.

@jkeith87, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I understand you are not able to print due to this error.

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - '0xc19a0005' or Similar Error Code Displays

Also, check if there are any jams inside the printer, refer to - Paper Jam Error

Check if the print carriage is moving freely. Refer to 'Carriage Jam' or 'E3' Error Displays

Now, try making a standalone copy and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue. If the printer makes a copy, the hardware is fine.

If you are not able to make a copy, I'm afraid this is a hardware issue. Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.

Thanks Kumar. Yes, I am unable to print or copy. I just keep getting "Ink System Failure...along with the subject line code. I've checked everything and tried everything I can find that people suggest. The printer was working fine until I ran out of ink and fixed the paper feed problem (online YouTube video!). I replaced the black ink cartridge with an HP cartridge, but the color cartridges are "non-HP." The cartridges are recognized, so I don't think that's the issue. The printer head moves just fine. The copier has not been used much at all even though it's fairly dated. I don't know what happened because it stopped printing right after I was able to test the paper feed problem with empty ink cartridges. I guess I'm done spending money on it unless there's another rabbit to pull out of a hat. I just don't understand what's wrong with the printer. Mechanically, it's fine. It must be the printer head, although it's not telling me that.
