HP photosmart 6520

I have a HP photosmart 6520 which has been reliable, but is now failing to feed paper. I have cleaned rollers, which solved it temporarily, but now does not feed at all. Just says out of paper when tray is half full of new paper.

any ideas of what the problem could be?

Hi @Nick773

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Appreciate you trying the steps. This looks like an issue with the sensor. I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

Have a great day!

The only suggestion from HP support was to buy a new printer. No instructions on what else to check or where to check. Not sure if there is a sensor on the photosmart 6520, or where it is?

Any other helpful suggestions to solve the paper feed issue would be much appreciated.

This looks like an issue with the sensors and I'm afraid that is not a customer replaceable part.

Thanks!
