I have an Hp 6600 all in one series printer. Just keeps giving me this error " There is a problem with the printer or ink system. Turn printer off then on. If problem persists contact HP 0x61011bed". I have turned the printer off and left it off for long periods of time. I have unplugged it. I have removed the ink and put it back in. I tried running the clean print heads. No matter what I do I just get this printer failure notice.
Any other ideas out there that I can try before? I throw in the towel on this printer?

Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The error code "0x61011bed" on an HP Officejet 6600 e-All-in-One Printer indicates that there is a problem with the printer. Blinking lights and error codes are typically used by HP printers to provide information about the nature of the problem. In this case, it appears to be a specific error code that is not covered in the standard HP printer documentation.
Here are some general troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue.
Let's perform a power drain:
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Remove USB cable, if present.
- Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
- Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
- Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle
Update the printer firmware
- Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your product
- Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.
- Restart the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and leave it unplugged for a few minutes. Then, plug it back in and turn it on.
- Update Firmware: Make sure that your printer has the latest firmware installed. You can usually find firmware updates on the HP website for your specific printer model. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve compatibility issues and bugs.
- Check for Paper Jams: Ensure that there are no paper jams or obstructions inside the printer. Even a small piece of paper stuck in the printer can cause problems.
- Inspect Ink Cartridges: Check if the ink cartridges are properly installed and not empty. Sometimes, ink cartridge issues can trigger error codes.
- Reset the Printer: Perform a full factory reset on your HP Officejet 6600 e-All-in-One Printer. The steps for doing this can vary depending on your printer model, so consult your printer's manual or the HP support website for specific instructions.
