I am writing to express my disappointment with HP's response to a chronic problem reported with the HP Officejet Pro 6830 printer. Several posts have attested to ongoing problems with this printer with no attempt on the part of the company to issue a recall. When I contacted support yesterday, I was informed that because the unit is out of warranty, I can pay to have it fixed. If HP wants to continue to have a dominant role in production and sales of printers, I feel they should have been more responsive to this flaw in technology/production.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
