I have tried all the hp solutions with no result. Printer still will not print in black.I have unistalled, reinstalled  with new software, cleaned printing heads,and  aligned printer cartridges .Printer will not print reports in black-it prints in color and often  a  blank page. I have triued all the options in printer prferences- color-black- black only etc.

Yes I have done the same steps as many who have commented on this print black topic.  It reaches the [oint where I havea lot of ink for the 6830 which also justifes my to replace the printer with another 6830.  The refrubished are cheap enough to make it work while.
