I am trying to print an envelope in my new printer.  I get error code E1 and it does not print, but ejects the envelope after a minute or two.  I have printed envelopes with many other printers, and never had one act like this.

I understand you are not able to print on envelopes. Are you able to print on regular paper?

The error E1 occurs if the paper in the input tray does not match the paper settings.

1. Press the Cancel button .

2. Load the correct paper or change the paper size in the software.

   

3. Resend the print job.

What size envelopes are you using?

This model printer supports Envelope( #10, Monarch, 5.5 bar). Click here to check the printer specifications.
